Dobson, NC – August, 2016 The Foundation for Rural Services and Surry Telephone awarded a $2500 scholarship to East Surry High School graduate Meredith Jessup. Ms. Jessup is from Westfield and will be attending North Carolina State University where she will be working toward a degree in Zoology. “It is an honor for Surry Telephone to be able to honor the hard work and achievements of our local students as they prepare to advance their studies,” stated Melanie Senter, Marketing Manager Surry Telephone.
