Holly Springs, NC –AccessOn Networks, a wholesale provider of advanced fiber-based communication services, recently announced a $2 million-dollar investment that will allow the organization to purchase state-of-the-art network equipment, acquire additional fiber, and invest in their infrastructure through a partnership with Ciena, an international networking systems, services, and software company. Investors include ATMC, Randolph Communications, Skyline/Skybest, Star Communications and Surry Communications.

The partnership with Ciena brings expanded capabilities, speed, reliability, and diverse network routing to businesses in metropolitan areas as well as smaller cities and towns in rural North Carolina where network capabilities like this have not previously been available. AccessOn Networks has a unique client portfolio that includes multiple industry, corporate and small business customers.
In addition to the network upgrades, the organization also announced a new corporate office location in Holly Springs, North Carolina. This location, and its proximity to the Research Triangle Park, will allow the company to recruit key talent that can support future growth of the organization.
